🌿 Quick Tips

1. Cover seeds with 5 mm of soil and keep lightly moist — they sprout fast.
2. Pinch the tip once at 10 cm for a bushier plant and more blooms.
3. Deadhead every few days to keep it flowering for 3–4 months straight.
4. Companion planting bonus: marigold roots and scent deter nematodes and many soil pests — plant along the edges of tomato and chilli beds.
5. Go easy on nitrogen fertiliser or you'll get lush leaves and few flowers.
